Professional qualification

Your tasks will include

Setting up workstations and installation sites according to company specifications

Dismantling and assembling components as well as adapting parts by mechanical processing

Measuring, evaluating and calculating electric variables

Selecting and preparing cables; connecting assemblies and devices using various connection technologies

Selecting measuring and control equipment and systems, sensors, actuators, software and other components

Maintaining, protecting, backing up and archiving data and documents

Following the electrotechnical rules for setting up, modifying, maintaining and operating electrical systems and equipment

Maintaining systems as per the maintenance plan; replacing wear parts as part of preventive maintenance

Installing, wiring and marking equipment for controlling, measuring and monitoring

Setting up, positioning, securing and connecting machinery, devices, drive systems and other equipment

Configuring, commissioning and setting the operating values of drive systems

Assembling and installing lighting equipment

Assessing, maintaining and servicing energy distribution systems


Good to know

Information about your apprenticeship as an electronics engineer 

GCSE or equivalent qualifications (Qualifizierender Hauptschulabschluss), intermediate school leaving certificate (Mittlerer Bildungsabschluss), secondary school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife)

Duration of training: 3½ years
