Bin picking - machine loading
(copy 12)
Automated loading of chaotically arranged and unsorted parts.
Efficient production automation without separation systems
Discover the future of production automation. Our innovative bin picking solution enables the automated handling of unsorted parts in a chaotic arrangement. This results in significant savings in time and production costs for your company.
Our solution's advanced technology ensures flexibility and scalability to meet even the most demanding manufacturing challenges. Integrating Bin Picking into your production line not only optimizes your processes, but also sets new standards in terms of precision and quality.
Why does it need bin picking?
High variance as a result of different workpiece variants in combination with increasing requirements with regard to the reduction of set-up times poses ever greater challenges to the feed technology. WEBER automation's new bin picking system offers the perfect solution here. With a single application, different products can be identified and isolated. Bin picking literally means "reaching into the bin". Using a 3D vision system, the robot is able to detect, grasp and store non-ordered workpieces that lie unsorted in a load carrier. The position of the workpieces in the bin does not matter, nor does the geometry of the workpieces. Load carriers with different workpieces can also be unloaded automatically in this way. Compared with conventional applications, bin picking thus offers more flexibility and space savings compared with complex separation systems, and opens up new possibilities in automation.
Facts:
- 3D Vision system consisting of a high-performance projector and 4 cameras for stable workpiece detection
- Automatic calculation of the robot path by way of a path planning algorithm
- Enables automation of complex production processes
- Removal from load carriers of up to 1280 x 1280 mm can be covered; removal of intermediate layers within the load carrier is also possible
- Due to the integrated interference contour detection and the intelligent robot path planning derived from it, the system is also suitable for containers with restricted accessibility
