PVC granulation now even more efficient

Recycling potential optimally exploited

WEBER extrusion

The new KG8 head granulator

Hans Weber Maschinenfabrik from Kronach presented its new KG8 head pelletiser at the K 2022 plastics trade fair in Düsseldorf.
In combination with the WEBER pelletising extruder series DS "G", pellet production becomes even more efficient.

In order to meet the market requirements, WEBER offers a new head pelletiser for a capacity of up to 2500 kg/h. The PVC granulate produced in the hot die-cutting process is manufactured on complete systems from WEBER for a wide range of applications.
The new KG8 ensures high operational reliability, easy handling and consistent granulate quality. Individually coordinated system components, from the material feed to the bagging station, guarantee efficient production.

Adjustable contact pressure of the cutting knives as well as cardanically mounted knife holders ensure low wear on knives and cord plate.
The melt channel has been optimised in terms of flow technology, thus enabling fast colour changes and the shortest possible set-up times. By integrating melt filters, even more heavily contaminated raw materials can be processed without any problems. This makes it particularly suitable for regranulating PVC regrind.
