Robotics and automation solutions
From innovative robot cells for stacking, sorting, and palletizing workpieces to customized handling systems for loading and unloading with intelligent software. Developed, designed, and manufactured in the production facilities in Upper Franconia, Kronach, WEBER creates flexible, turnkey robot systems for automating assembly processes and optimizing manufacturing workflows.
Vision-guided, industrial robotics and automation solutions for the most demanding requirements.
The Multitalent - Adaptable Handling System HS-4-1000
Sorting, stacking, workpiece handling – all of this is offered by the modular WEBER handling system in the field of sophisticated robotic technology. The system complements the subsequent process to the WEBER grinding machine, providing a perfect interface for further processing steps of workpieces. This system is also universally applicable and can stack any conveyors - even completely unrelated to grinding machines. The system, consisting of the core components industrial robot, optical recognition system, and conveyor belt, locates and identifies the production parts entering the cell. These are fully automated by the system and intelligently placed on a Euro pallet. Furthermore, the HS-4-1000 features an automatic tool changer for even more flexibility in handling.
The Allrounder - Variable Handling System with Automatic Infeed and Outfeed Solution
To increase the degree of automation, WEBER also offers complete solutions that include not only robots for workpiece handling but also transport systems for pallets or grid boxes. This enables a completely self-sufficient operation, which is especially important in line and series production. WEBER collaborates with the customer to configure the best possible solution, tailored to the specific needs of the customers. From feasibility analysis through the planning phase, development, and construction – at WEBER, the customer is in the best hands.
Surface Inspection Surface inspection is one of the classic areas of industrial image processing: To detect various types of defects such as cracks, elevations, depressions, or edge damage that cannot be eliminated by a grinding process, WEBER relies on "Deep Learning," a machine learning methodology. Industrial image-based inspection systems capture surface defects in continuous conveying operation directly after the grinding process, making them a perfect complement to the subsequent process to WEBER metal grinding machines.
For the surface inspection of metallic workpieces, targeted and homogeneous lighting is integrated into WEBER's robotics and automation solutions to capture various surface defects and grinding patterns in large inspection areas. WEBER offers a custom inspection system for each surface finish.
Human Machine Interface All machines from WEBER come standard with a touch control panel. Thanks to the self-explanatory user interface, controlling WEBER's robotics and automation solutions is a breeze. Through the user interface "Rob Simple Control," users can easily activate the teach mode and monitor the current process. A major advantage: the operator does not need programming or robot knowledge.
