Wet grinding technology is a highly developed method in the field of precision grinding that ensures outstanding surface quality and accuracy thanks to its combination of grinding technology and continuous liquid feed. This technique offers several key advantages that make it the preferred choice for precision machining.

A key advantage of wet grinding technology is the ability to machine workpieces with extremely tight tolerances. This is achieved by the continuous supply of liquid, which minimizes thermal expansion and ensures uniform material removal. With conventional grinding processes, the heat generated can lead to deformation and stresses in the workpiece, which impairs precision. In contrast, the liquid used in wet grinding effectively dissipates the heat generated. This prevents thermally induced stresses and deformations that could otherwise impair dimensional accuracy and surface quality.


Wet grinding technology also offers the advantage of improved cooling and lubrication during the grinding process. This not only reduces wear on the grinding wheel, but also increases its service life and performance.
