WEBER: Versatile and compact all-rounder grinding machines of the TTSC series

They are ideal for combining different edits in parallel. We are talking about the TTSC series grinding machines, the compact-class models from WEBER. Visitors to Euroblech in Hannover will have the opportunity to see the top model of the series, the TTSC plus, in action at WEBER’s booth.

Compact, flexible, and highly efficient—these are the standout features of the TTSC series grinding machines from WEBER. The TTSC plus model offers exceptionally high drive power, allowing for higher throughput or larger edge rounding.

The TTSC plus, which can be seen live at WEBER’s booth, comes equipped with three grinding stations that make it easy to combine different processing steps:

  • Compact roller system D
  • Planetary head P2
  • Multi-rotation brush R2

Perfect surface – the compact roller system D

With the rubber-coated grinding roller of the compact roller system, primary burrs can be easily removed. Even thick, molten laser spatter is effortlessly eliminated by the roller during the pre-grinding process. Additionally, the roller plays a central role in achieving a perfect grind pattern. The grinding pressure can be flexibly adjusted via the control system to meet the requirements of each workpiece.

Even edge rounding – the planetary head P2

The second unit of the TTSC plus demo machine, the patented single-row planetary head unit P2, offers an exceptionally economical solution for uniformly rounding edges on all sides. Since the planetary head tools operate with a large overlap area, additional oscillation movement is not required. This eliminates both oscillation marks on the surface and processing gaps. Various tools are available at the planetary head unit to meet different processing requirements.

Sophisticated Engineering – the Multi-Rotation Brush R2

A prime example of sophisticated engineering "made in Kronach" is the Multi-Rotation Brush R2: Multiple adjacent rotating heads ensure a uniform edge rounding on all interior and exterior edges. The two brushes per head interlock, providing very even processing results across the entire working width. The Multi-Rotation Brush is ideal for all-around rounding on sheets with fins, threaded openings, or deformations. It is also particularly effective for processing coated, galvanized, or fire-aluminized sheets, where the coating must not be removed or damaged. These are applications that are now a routine part of many processing operations.

Sophisticated Peripheral Functions

In addition to the performance features of the various units, the TTSC plus from WEBER stands out with sophisticated peripheral functions that support fast and efficient operation. The units and modules are extremely accessible - through doors on both sides of the machine, the side drawer for the P2 unit, and the rear panel for the rotating brushes. The feed speed - up to 7.5 meters per minute - can be continuously adjusted to the specific requirements via a frequency-controlled drive motor. In addition to the high-quality standard equipment, the TTSC plus comes with the "Avantage Package" as standard. This includes a vacuum table, automatic laser tool length measurement, and oscillation-free grinding belt control.

The benefits of the TTSC plus at a glance:

  • Three grinding stations in a compact machine
  • Oscillation-free processing
  • Easily accessible units and modules
  • Sophisticated peripheral functions
  • Convenient operation via touch terminal
  • Quality "Made in Germany"
