up to 2250 mm
working width
Processing of fiber and panel materials with working widths of up to 2250 mm
The MDK series is a special machine series designed for the double-sided processing of fiber and panel materials. It includes all the features of the SDK series and also offers high power reserves for all sanding requirements, with externally mounted sanding drives delivering up to 160 kW of drive power.
With a wide range of available working widths and options, the MDK can be tailored to fit seamlessly into any production line. The machine is available with four sanding stations; thanks to its modular frame design, configurations with up to eight processing stations are also conceivable.
The three possible sanding units – contact roller, sanding pad unit and combination unit – provide different configuration options for the working stations.

WEBER processing stations
The three possible units—contact roller, pad unit, and combination unit—represent different configuration options for the workstations.
The WEBER contact roller unit impresses with its exceptional precision, maximum efficiency and remarkable flexibility. Specially developed for applications in the calibration, pre-sanding and fine-sanding sectors, the unit guarantees perfect results on all types of solid wood as well as various wood-based materials.
Thanks to its robust construction, the contact roller unit is ideal for continuous operation and use in multi-shift applications. The spiral-grooved roller ensures maximum accuracy, durability and outstanding availability – all with minimal maintenance requirements.
With its versatile applications, the WEBER contact roller unit is the optimal solution for demanding woodworking processes in sanding machines and production lines.

Your advantages at a glance
WEBER has developed three separate series for processing plate-shaped materials. As these sanding machines are subject to different requirements than conventional standard machines, their design differs significantly. For the processing of veneer and plywood panels, the sanding pad stations can also be equipped with electronically controlled link pressure beams. The drive units are separated from the machine frame and combined as a separate unit. This eliminates sanding errors caused by vibrations in the machine frame.
