- Sewer pipes
- Pressure pipes
- Plumbing applications
- Stormwater/drainage
- Cable protection pipes
- Well pipes
- Applications in water conveyance, industry, and agriculture
C-PVC Pipes
- Domestic plumbing for hot water lines up to 80°C
- Multilayer pipes
At WEBER, we offer suitable extruder solutions for the production of a wide variety of PVC pipes. These include smooth pipes, corrugated pipes, single-layer pipes, and multilayer pipes, which can be designed to be rigid or flexible depending on the application.
Our systems are also designed for special applications: foam-core pipes, highly filled PVC pipes, and highly filled sound-insulating pipes can be produced reliably and efficiently with our extruders.
Pipe Head and Tooling Technology
Our pipe heads are aerodynamically optimized and ensure uniform wall thickness distribution across the entire circumference of the pipe. Their modular design allows for quick adaptation to different pipe dimensions and types. Simple setup and teardown significantly reduce setup times and increase system availability.
For multilayer applications, we offer co-extrusion-capable systems that ensure precise layer distribution as well as stable and reproducible process control. This allows different material properties to be specifically combined within a single tube.
In addition, patented screw geometries are used, which were developed specifically for demanding applications. These enable homogeneous mixing and gentle processing even with highly filled formulations and difficult-to-process materials, thereby further increasing process stability and product quality.
High Output and Process Stability
PVC pipe extrusion is characterized by high output while maintaining stable process parameters. Our systems ensure reproducible product quality even at high throughput rates and are designed for a long service life and high operational reliability.
The integrated OS5 control system enables precise regulation of all relevant process parameters such as temperature zones, speed, pressure, and throughput.
Integration, Digitalization, and Material Diversity
With the vendor-neutral software solution NEXXT365, we offer you additional capabilities for process monitoring, data analysis, and production optimization. Thanks to ERP interfaces, your production data can be seamlessly integrated into existing enterprise systems.
Our PVC pipe extrusion systems are also designed for processing recycled materials and help you implement sustainable production concepts without compromising on quality or performance.
Your technological edge
With our experience and technological expertise, we create solutions in PVC pipe extrusion that give you a decisive competitive advantage—through higher efficiency, better product quality, and maximum process reliability.
WEBER’s versatile PVC multilayer die heads ensure high process reliability during the extrusion of foam-core pipes and low-stabilized recycled materials in the middle layer. This is achieved through a die head distributor designed for the smallest possible diameter and a downstream conventional strainer head for all three layers. Parallel arrangement of 2 or 3 extruders in a very small space or via piggyback solutions is possible
PO Pipe Extrusion (PE, PE-RT, PP) – Top Performance for Polyolefin Pipe Systems
Our PO pipe extrusion systems are specifically designed for the cost-effective and reliable production of modern polyolefin pipes. Our focus is on maximum output, stable production conditions, and consistently high pipe quality. As a manufacturer of extrusion systems, we offer customized solutions for processing PE, PP, PE-RT, and PP-R.

WEBER tube heads are synonymous with outstanding quality and excellent workmanship. Thanks to distribution systems and flow channels with optimally tuned rheological properties, perfect coating distribution is achieved across the entire circumference of the tube—even at high throughput rates and moderate pressure conditions.
For pipe dimensions of 110 mm and larger, our pipe heads are also available with an innovative internal pipe air cooling system, which makes the production process even more efficient.
WEBER offers pipe heads in single-, double-, or triple-layer configurations, based on an axial helical distribution system. Additionally, a fourth thin layer can be optionally integrated via a radial distribution system.
The flow channels are flexibly adaptable and can be equipped with various surface treatments—for example, with a wear-resistant intermediate layer, ideal for processing glass-fiber-reinforced materials.
High-Performance Extrusion for PO Pipes
The extruders feature grooved feed zones in the barrel, which ensure reliable material intake, increase feed stability, and simultaneously reduce energy consumption. Additional grooves in the barrel further enhance these benefits.
Sophisticated barrier screw geometries ensure controlled melting and efficient homogenization. An L:D ratio of 40 ensures high performance under stable process conditions.
Uniform melt distribution and wear protection
Optimized melt transport in the die head, combined with a spiral distributor, ensures uniform melt distribution with low pressure losses and minimal shear stress.
Application-specific wear protection concepts can be implemented that are tailored to the material, filler content, and load, significantly extending the service life of the components.
Internal cooling and system efficiency
The integrated internal tube cooling significantly reduces the cooling distance and minimizes the sagging effect, particularly with large tube diameters. This ensures dimensional accuracy and surface quality immediately after extrusion.
All components of the line are optimally coordinated and ensure consistently high product quality, maximum energy efficiency, and high system availability.
WEBER offers high-performance and highly customizable extruder solutions for the production of high-quality PO (polyolefin) pipes. The product range extends from smooth PE and PP pipes to corrugated pipes, as well as single-layer and multilayer pipes, which can be produced in both rigid and flexible versions depending on requirements.
A particular focus is on the efficient production of stick stock and coiled stock, allowing production to be optimally adapted to various logistics, storage, and processing concepts.
Even demanding special applications can be reliably implemented. These include, among others, foamed PO pipes (foam-core pipes), which impress with their reduced weight and optimized material efficiency, as well as highly filled PO pipes and sound insulation pipes, which allow for targeted adjustment of acoustic and mechanical properties.
PEXa Pipe Extrusion - Our Solution for Extruding Pipes with High Temperature Resistance
Our PEXa extrusion systems are designed to meet the demanding requirements of thermal pipe production. PEXa pipes, produced through the peroxide cross-linking of HDPE, are among the most high-performance solutions for modern piping systems. They combine high flexibility, temperature resistance, and durability, and are used primarily in heating, plumbing, and energy technology.
As a manufacturer of extrusion systems, we offer robust, process-reliable systems for the reliable processing of this high-performance material.
PEXa pipes are used wherever the highest standards of temperature and pressure resistance are required:
+ Heating and plumbing systems
+ Geothermal systems
+ District heating
+ Industrial applications
Our PEXa extrusion systems are specifically designed for the stable and consistent processing of peroxide-crosslinked HDPE. A key technical feature is IF-Screw® technology, which enables high throughput rates while ensuring excellent melt homogeneity.
The extruders are designed for output ranges from 30 to 450 kg/h and ensure reliable processing of both HDPE pellets and HDPE powder. This achieves very good melt homogeneity at low melt temperatures—a decisive factor for the subsequent cross-linking quality of the material.
The precisely matched screw and barrel technology ensures gentle plasticization, reduces thermal stress on the material, and enables consistent process control.
Our PEXa extrusion solutions are developed in close collaboration with system partners and customized for each specific application. This results in tailor-made complete systems that ensure maximum process reliability and product quality.
The systems are designed for stable and reproducible production and enable precise control of all relevant process parameters. This is particularly important for the controlled further processing and cross-linking of the material.
Complete pipe production lines – everything in one place
WEBER offers complete pipe production lines as custom-designed, turnkey systems. These lines enable the efficient production of PVC pipes with diameters up to 630 mm and PE pipes up to 1200 mm. The design is based either on customer specifications (requirements) or—drawing on in-house expertise—as a customized, optimized solution.
