WEBER processing stations
The WEBER KSF sanding machine can be equipped with up to 8 processing stations. The arrangement of the sanding stations is freely selectable. In addition to the cross belt station and the wide belt stations such as contact roller, combination station and wide belt with sanding pad, WEBER CBF sanding technology, X-sanding and WEBER brush technology can of course also be installed. WEBER's modular system also allows sanding stations to be replaced at a later date.
The WEBER contact roller unit impresses with its exceptional precision, maximum efficiency and remarkable flexibility. Specially developed for applications in the calibration, pre-sanding and fine-sanding sectors, the unit guarantees perfect results on all types of solid wood as well as various wood-based materials.
Thanks to its robust construction, the contact roller unit is ideal for continuous operation and use in multi-shift applications. The spiral-grooved roller ensures maximum accuracy, durability and outstanding availability – all with minimal maintenance requirements.

The WEBER planing unit is specifically designed for the precise calibration and pre-machining of timber surfaces. It offers a reliable and efficient solution for industrial applications where high material removal rates and perfect flatness are required. With high performance and precise control, the planing unit guarantees the highest quality and optimum results on solid wood and panel materials. It operates with a rotating planing shaft that removes large amounts of material in a single pass. This ensures that the workpiece is calibrated quickly and precisely and prepared for further processing.
General technical data:
+ Planing shaft ø180 / ø240 mm
+ Program-controlled feed of the planing shaft + Kickback protection at the machine inlet
+ Pneumatically segmented pressure beam before and rigid pressure beam after the planing shaft
General features:
+ Individually replaceable cutter heads
+ High material removal rate at high feed rates
The WEBER cushion unit is the ideal solution for the gentle and precise finishing of delicate wooden surfaces. Thanks to the grinding station’s exceptional adaptability, the unit achieves first-class results, even on challenging workpieces such as veneers, profiled surfaces or coated materials.
General technical data:
+ grooved steel or rubber contact roller
+ drive up to 110 kW depending on the series
+ diameter up to 210 mm depending on the series
+ electric roller adjustment and positioning
The WEBER combination unit combines the power of a grinding roller with the flexibility of a grinding beam in a single grinding station. This clever combination enables both precise material removal and a particularly fine surface finish – ideal for applications with high demands on dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
General technical data:
+ Grooved steel or rubber contact roller, ø130 mm
+ Drive power up to 19 kW depending on the series
+ Adjustment accuracy: 0.02 mm
+ Direction of rotation: synchronous/counter-rotating
General features:
+ Calibration and finishing in sequence
+ For sensitive surfaces
+ Variable grinding patterns
+ ISA pressure bar system
WEBER’s CBF combination unit combines two machining technologies in a single unit: the precise material removal of a contact roller with the streak-free finish of CBF (Cross Belt Finish) technology. This unit offers maximum precision and flexibility – ideal for the most demanding requirements in terms of dimensional accuracy and surface quality. The unit combines a grooved contact roller with a transverse sanding belt interrupted by lamellae (CBF technology). Whilst the roller removes material with precision, the CBF system ensures an even, streak-free finish – without oscillation marks.
General technical data:
+ Grooved steel or rubber contact roller
+ ø130mm
+ Drive up to 30kW
+ Cutting speed of approx. 2–25 m/sec
General features:
+ Electric motor-driven roller adjustment and positioning
+ Precise adaptation to the workpiece
+ Internal ISA link pressure beam
+ Oscillation-mark-free cross-finishing
The WEBER cross-belt unit sets new standards in wood surface finishing. By specifically processing the surface across the grain, it delivers outstanding sanding quality and creates the ideal conditions for subsequent finishing processes such as staining, varnishing or coating.
General technical data:
+ Drive: 15 kW
+ Pressure lamella belt with felt and graphite
+ ISD segmented pressure beam
General features:
+ High-quality sanding finish
+ Surface sanding for uniform lacquering
+ Stepless speed adjustment
The WEBER P2 planetary head is the ideal solution for consistent and precise edge rounding and the machining of wooden surfaces. With its unique, patented technology, the P2 delivers perfect results on a wide variety of workpiece geometries and sets new standards in industrial woodworking.
The WEBER “B” brushing unit is a versatile grinding module used for texturing, fine finishing, dust removal or stripping of wood and wood-based materials. Thanks to its flexible adaptability and range of brush types, it is ideally suited to numerous applications – from aesthetic surface finishing to functional post-processing.

+ Cutting speed 2–10 m/s
+ Display accuracy 1/10 mm
General features:
+ Adjustable oscillation
+ Motorised roller lift
The WEBER orbital unit has been specially developed for the fine sanding and finishing of wooden surfaces. Thanks to its rotating and oscillating movements, it ensures an even, fine surface finish without sanding marks or torn fibres. The unit thus offers the ideal solution for the highest standards of quality and appearance in the woodworking industry.
General technical data:
+ Motors: 1.5 kW and 2.6 kW
+ Speed of the orbital frame: approx. 250–850 rpm
+ Speed of the orbital pad: approx. 450–2600 rpm
+ Display accuracy: 1/10 mm
General features:
+ Adjustable oscillation
A ground surface free from oscillation marks is a hallmark of outstanding quality. WEBER has found the solution to this with its CBF technology. This works using a transverse pressure lamella belt positioned within the wide-belt grinding station. The pressure lamellae interrupt the contact of the abrasive grains, thereby preventing the unwanted oscillating grinding marks caused by the grinding belt. The lamella belt runs without a control system, benefits from the full tolerance compensation of the articulated pressure beam, wears evenly and is cost-effective to replace.
Technical data:
+ Separately driven CBF belt
+ Electric roller adjustment
Features:
+ Suitable for very soft wood species
+ Variable sanding patterns
+ Gentle material processing
+ ISA pressure beam system
Your advantages at a glance
WEBER automatic sanding machines are used in production lines and lacquering systems for wood sanding and also for intermediate lacquer sanding. For both processes the patented WEBER CBF technology plays a decisive role as final sanding. The resulting sanding quality provides the optimum basis for subsequent staining and lacquering. With the Siemens control of the WEBER sanding machines, line integration for all well-known manufacturers of painting systems is possible without any problems. This means that the necessary process parameters can be specified and set centrally from the control station.
