They help to process a wide variety of materials reliably, make optimum use of processes and ensure consistently high product quality. PVC granulation - Granulating Heads

Our pelletising heads are designed to suit specific materials and are individually tailored to the particular requirements of PVC processing. This ensures stable, reliable and consistent pelletisation, even with different formulations and material properties.

The focus is on a design that minimises wear. A key feature is the WEBER cutting head with gimbal-mounted, self-sharpening blades. This design ensures constant contact pressure throughout operation, thereby guaranteeing consistent cutting quality and reproducible pellet quality.

Depending on the plant concept, various designs are available – including swivelling systems with double joints, trolley or rail solutions, as well as custom-developed special designs. This allows the pelletising heads to be optimally integrated into different production environments.

DW2 and DW4 force feed equipment - from powder to granulate

When things don’t go to plan: for materials with poor flow properties, the feed units ensure reliable filling of the extruder screws. Even with materials of low bulk density, high output rates are achieved using WEBER feed units. The systems are suitable for a range of extruder sizes and are available in various designs.

For maximum flexibility, variants with a swivelling double joint and column mounting are available, allowing easy adaptation to different plant configurations. In addition, a height-adjustable screw enables optimal adaptation to the process and makes it possible to process even highly filled formulations safely and efficiently.

The DW2 and DW4 extrusion units thus offer a reliable and high-performance solution – from powder to granules.
